Improvise

Today in our thankful jar we drew "I am thankful for pumpkin pie, make a pumkin pie" So we decided to make a pumpkin ice cream pie. We made the crust (with hazelnuts and ritz crackers)

Then we got out the ice cream and pumpkin...wait, we are out of pumpkin.
Today we are thankful for creativity! We layer the ice cream with, butterscotch topping chocolate chips, and heath bar crumbles.

WOWOWOWOWOWOW! Way yum and we all agreed better than pumpkin!

I feel like we are a little late to enter the blog world but here we are. This year we are paring down the activies filled, soccer practice laden, dance class heavy, playdate plethera schedule and instead focus on what is most important; building strong character, good friends, a close family, and developing true lasting talents. Our goal is to make 100 deliveries of made from scratch homemade treats while never using the same recipe twice! This is our one year cooking and sharing experiment.
